Guinea-Bissau asks Islamic Development Bank for support for agriculture

Guinea-Bissau today asked the Islamic Development Bank for support for the development of the agricultural sector in light of the increase in world prices, said Finance Minister Ilídio Té.

“We have spoken with the Islamic Development Bank and they are available to support the agricultural sector in order to have our food sovereignty and independence,” Guinea’s finance minister said.

The minister was speaking at the end of a meeting with a mission from the Islamic Development Bank to assess ongoing projects in the Register for our Premium Membership Plan. Already subscribed? Login Here
