Guyanese president, PM and others attend state banquet

Guyanese President Dr Irfaan Ali, Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley and other members of state attended a banquet last night as part of Dr Ali’s visit to Trinidad and Tobago.

In an update, the Prime Minister’s Office shared photos of the event, which was attended by Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley, wife Sharon Rowley and other members of state, and hosted by Acting President and Senate President Christine Kangaloo.

OPM said that the banquet was held at the President’s house.

OPM said that also present were the Chief Secretary of the House of Assembly of Tobago, Farley Augustine, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and CARICOM Affairs, Dr Amery Browne, the Minister of Agriculture, Lands and Fisheries, Kazim Hosein, the Minister of Energy Stuart Young and the Chairperson of Bridgid Annisette-George Chamber. among others.

Dr Ali is today participating in an activity at the Diplomatic Center for bilateral discussions.

Dr Ali will be in the country over the weekend and will leave the country on Sunday.
