India will fly to the United States of America for the remaining 2 T20Is against the West Indies. India lead 2-1 in the ongoing five-match series against the Windies and would aim for a series win on August 6 in Florida. The final T20 will also be played in Florida on August 7 only. Before leaving for the USA, Team India all-rounder Hardik Pandya managed to find time to visit the home of his best friend Kieron Pollard, who lives in Trinidad and Tobago. Mind you, teams today no longer live in a bio-secure environment and are free to travel wherever they want to go by taking some precautions. Hardik went to Pollard’s house and clicked some cute pictures with his family.
In one of the pictures that Hardik shared on his social media, he could be seen standing with Pollard, his wife and 3 children. He wrote: “No trip to the Caribbean is complete without a visit to the King’s House. My favorite Polly and your lovely family, thank you for hosting my brother.”

Hardik may not have done wonders in the ongoing series against West Indies, but one good thing that has come out is that he is bowling four-overs in the match. This is a good sign as back injuries have kept him out of bowling at all and India suffered due to this imbalance in the playing XI in the T20 World Cup last year. Keeping the T20 World Cup 2022 in mind, his four-wicket spells could have a big impact on India’s campaign.
“I’ve always enjoyed bowling whenever I’ve bowled. That’s the reason I felt I had to take some time for my bowling to come in. I’ve realized that when I bowl it gives a lot of balance to the side, it gives a lot of confidence to the captain,” said Hardik Pandya after India’s seven-wicket win at Warner Park in Basseterre.
