Nov. 1 — Canyon Hills Assembly of God was engulfed by dinosaurs, characters from the “Star Wars” universe and the cast of “The Avengers” on Monday for the church’s harvest carnival.
Organizers said Friday night that they expected about 5,000 to stop by before the evening was over, making it one of the largest turnouts they’ve ever had for the decades-old community tradition.
Offering an alternative to trick-or-treating, families enjoyed carnival games, food trucks, a bounce house, a rock wall, laser tag and free train rides.
