FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Junior midfielder Emilee Hauser was named to the TopDrawerSoccer Team of the Week, the publication announced Tuesday.
Hauser led Arkansas’ defensive effort in shutout wins over Western Michigan and Michigan State and played every minute of the Razorbacks’ two games this week.
Against the Broncos, she assisted on two of the Hogs’ three goals. On Sunday against the Spartans, she made several key plays to stifle Michigan State’s scoring chances.
Hauser is the first Arkansas player to be named to the weekly award since Anna Podojil was honored in 2020.
Hauser and the Hogs will be back in action this week and will visit No. 6 BYU on Thursday, September 8th and will then travel to Grand Canyon on Sunday, September 11th. Thursday’s 8:00 PM CT game will air live on BYUtv and Sunday’s 8:00 PM CT game will air live on ESPN Plus.
