Health and wellness will be celebrated carnival-style as part of an event taking place tomorrow.

The Department of Health’s Office of Health Promotion will host the Feast of Wellbeing: A Carnival-Ready Health Extravaganza in Victoria Park from 4pm to 8pm.

A spokeswoman for the ministry said: “This event will raise awareness and promote measures to address the epidemic of non-communicable diseases that continue to severely impact Bermuda’s health, economy and development.

“Attendees can peruse booths, interact with various organizations, participate in activities and enjoy live entertainment.

“Please join us for an evening full of fun.”

Among the wellness vendors are the Mid-Atlantic Wellness Institute, Bermuda Diabetes Association, Bermuda Red Cross and BDA Pilates.

Entertainment includes the Bermuda Carnival Soca Truck, Step This Way, Longevity Athletics Bermuda and the Bermuda Jump Rope Federation.

There will also be a climbing wall, massages, self-care tips and a vertical farming booth.

Kim Wilson, Minister of Health, will deliver the opening address at 5:00 p.m.
