We are at the end of term and at the end of summer! Keep an eye out for community events and cultural offerings in August and throughout the fall, including the National Night Out event on August 2 to promote police-community partnerships.
Join Public Safety for National Night Out on August 2nd
Research has shown that partnerships between communities and local police forces have a positive effect not only on crime rates, but also on community confidence in law enforcement. Celebrated on the first Tuesday in August, National Night is an annual celebration that aims to make communities safer and more caring through programs that promote police and community partnerships. Join Public Safety for community building activities on August 2nd from 5-7pm at SE 33rdst and Arch streets, adjacent to the Buckley Field entrance.
