Cooling centers
In response to heat warnings, cooling centers may be opened to the public at the discretion of local governments and First Nations in affected areas.

Safety and heat readiness
Contact a health care provider or call HealthLinkBC at 8-1-1 if you think you have a heat-related illness. Mild to moderate heat illness can quickly become severe. Call 9-1-1 in case of a medical emergency.
