HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall University Head Softball Coach Megan Smith Lyon has announced the 2022 fall softball schedule. All fall contests will be held at Dot Hicks Field in Huntington.
Marshall will host the Thundering Herd Fall Invitational on Saturday, October 8th. The Herd will take on Davis & Elkins at 12:30 pm and West Virginia Tech at 3 pm The following day, Marshall will host the Thundering Herd Fall Festival, with a 12:30 pm first pitch against Potomac State, followed from a tilt at 3 p.m. with West Virginia Wesleyan.
Next weekend, coach Smith Lyon’s team will host West Liberty on Saturday, October 15th. The doubleheader against WLU will begin at noon. Marshall will close out the fall schedule with the Thundering Herd October Invite the following day, Sunday, October 16. Marshall hosts Glenville State at 12:30 p.m., followed by University of Pikeville at 3 p.m.
