MOVEMENT:

Spanish Music and Movement (ages 0-6): Spanish Music and Movement is a tour of culture, language and fun. This presentation is not for sitting down – your family will be active characters in these adventures, participating with scarves, instruments and colorful animals as you move to the sounds of the language. Even if you’re not fluent in Spanish, watch the language come to life through animated and energetic activities designed for children under 6 and the family. The age group for this event is for ages 0 to 6 years old. This program will be held inside the library. This event will be held at the Petaluma Regional Library. Free Nutrition Smarts Classes: For parents of preschoolers at the Roseland Regional Library. The Wellness Center has partnered with Sonoma County’s Cal-Fresh program to provide nutrition education on the Food Smarts curriculum developed by Leah’s Pantry. In this first session, the group will set the stage for healthy choices, balanced meals with different food groups. Farmworker Clinic: The Botanic Bus meets our Latino and Indigenous customers where they are—on vineyard sites and trusted family service centers—to provide culturally relevant health services, including massage, acupuncture, somatic therapy, prevention and diabetes care, clinical and herbal nutrition. . We welcome our clients with music, tamales and aguas herbal frescoes to receive integrative bilingual, bicultural health care. Services are provided on an accessible sliding scale.
