90 Days Engaged Season 9 couple Bilal and Shaeeda will be joining the upcoming TLC show The 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Season 7.
Bilali and Shaeeda met online. Amazingly, Trinidad & Tobago native Shaeeda met Missouri native Bilal in person just a week before the COVID-19 pandemic hit.
The couple remained in a long-distance relationship for two years during the pandemic. They eventually got married, but are now dealing with some issues in their marriage which they will document on the show.
The official synopsis of the show states:
As these couples navigate the next chapter of their relationship, they will be tested on everything from emotional issues to family disapproval to immigration issues. With these couples kissing the honeymoon scene goodbye, are they headed for happily ever after or happily ever after never after?
What are the issues? 90 Days Engaged couple Bilal and Shaeda face each other in their marriage?
According to the teaser of the upcoming show, ‘Bilal is looking forward to an idyllic honeymoon phase with his new bride, but Shaeeda has business on the brain – baby business’
Viewers have seen in the previous show that Bilal had forced Shaeda to sign a prenuptial agreement before getting married. Moreover, Shaeeda wanted to have a child before turning 40, but Bilal has never been comfortable with having children.
Thus, the Trinidad native added her pregnancy as a condition to Bilal’s prenup. Also, in the official description of the next show, the relationship of Bilal and Sheeda is described:
“Their prenup contains a stipulation that Shaeeda becomes pregnant before she turns 40, but Bilal worries that the burden of a new child could torpedo their fledgling marriage.”
It further reads:
“But a fateful doctor’s visit reveals disturbing news about her fertility, uncovering trust and abandonment issues, and pushing their relationship to the brink. Will the timing of their pregnancy fulfill Shaeeda’s dreams of motherhood or will the date of the deadline for an increasingly insecure marriage?”
It is clear that the two currently have completely different desires, which has become the biggest problem in their relationship. Shaeeda is more than ready to have children, while Bilal, who is already a father of two children from his previous marriage, wants to enjoy his married life and not take on the responsibility of more children.
Bilal and Shaeeda were married on December 18, 2021, in Lees Summit, Missouri. Moreover, on their wedding day, Shaeeda’s sister Nisa and Tiya told her that she could still say no.
