If you’re looking to get started with Twitter Spaces, one of the best things you can do is be consistent with how often you use the feature. The more often you show up, the easier it becomes to generate brand awareness and build your community.
So how do you be consistent? You create your own Spaces on Twitter show.
By having a regular show on Spaces, you’ll have dedicated time to stream live and host valuable conversations for your audience. But the question is, how do you schedule a show on Twitter Spaces? This post has some tips to help you get started.
How to create your own Twitter feed
Currently, I host three weekly shows on Twitter Spaces. I go live on Wednesdays at 3:00 PM Eastern, Thursdays at 5:00 PM Eastern and Saturdays at 1:00 PM Eastern. In doing so, I’ve learned a lot about what it takes to create a great Twitter Spaces show. Now I’m sharing those tips with you.
Every week I wait three rooms in @TwitterSpaces

1. Determine the format of your show
When you imagine yourself hosting a show at Twitter Spaces, how do you imagine it going? Do you see yourself as the sole presenter, running your show as if it were a value-packed webinar? Or do you think you’d rather have a host every time to allow someone to joke around with? Do you see your show as a sort of educational mini-course or would an interview format be preferable? Take some time to think about what would feel good to you and what would appeal to your audience.
2. Decide how often you will go live
Next, you’ll want to determine the frequency at which you’ll host your Twitter Spaces show. A weekly show is a great option because it doesn’t require a lot of commitment. Plus, you’ll have plenty of time between shows to prepare for the next show.
However, if you’re feeling ambitious, you can host your show twice a week or even every day! It is completely up to you and how much time you have to devote to it.
3. Select a specific date and time
To make sure people always know when you’ll be live, it’s best to have a set date and time for your shows. That way, they can add it to their calendar with a reminder and never miss it! This creates consistency for both you and your audience.
4. Brainstorming ideas
Now comes the fun part! As you plan your Twitter Spaces show, you’ll want to spend some time brainstorming so you’ll have plenty to talk about during your first few shows. Consider the topics you want to discuss. What are you an expert in? What can you talk about for hours? And what would your audience want to learn about? Make sure you have a list of talking points handy so you don’t get confused and forget the items you want to discuss when you’re live.
As you brainstorm ideas, it’s also smart to consider any guest hosts you’d like to join you if you’re going that route. Then, you can start approaching them and pitching them the idea of being on your show.
5. Promote the show in advance
Once you’ve scheduled your first show, be sure to spread the word! Schedule your Twitter space ahead of time so it appears in the Twitter Spaces tab and so you can share it with your Twitter community in advance. This will help generate more interest and attract listeners, so people will be excited to tune in once you go live.
6. Improve your show by listening to feedback
There is always room for improvement, so be open to any constructive criticism you receive from your audience. They might have some good advice! Not only that, but you can also turn to them when you need help generating content ideas. That way, you can make sure you’re talking about the topics that matter most to them.
