Have you also been told that to grow as a content creator you need to grow on social media and one of the best places for creators is Twitter?
I would like to share organic methods to grow your Twitter to 10k organic followers without using follow to follow strategies, BOTs, Follow trains and unfollow strategies.
Twitter is definitely one of my strengths for creatives and I feel like it’s a really easy platform to get the hang of because once you do, you’re able to put out tweets that get a lot of comments and likes of retweets and then end up growing your Twitter. to 10k very quickly.
If you’re waiting for me to give you a magic spell that you can use to grow your audience and engagement on Twitter, please check back later, this is strictly for those who want to grow organically.
I will highlight metrics on how you can generate a lot of engagement on your tweets.
Engagement metrics
1. Getting more likes
The first engagement metric is going to be getting more likes, and I think likes are definitely easier to get because if you think about it, it takes a little bit more effort and a little bit more approval for someone to either retweet your tweet or comment. and join a conversation on a tweet you posted.
But likes are something you can easily get if you post about your life or if it’s really any kind of content on Twitter, it’s more alive than life.
Any type of content is likely to generate a good amount of likes as long as you have some sort of community of people on Twitter.
Please note, if you engage with someone else on their tweets, it actually means that the algorithm is more likely to send your tweets to them as well, which is where you can build likes simply by engaging with people and joining a conversation in them. tweets, so you may not really need to post tweets to generate likes, it will happen organically on its own.
2. Getting more engaging comments
Are you wondering how you can generate conversation in the form of comments and generate retweets with your posts?
Comments specifically are a very easy feat to achieve. To get comments, all you have to do is ask a question in your tweet.
The fact is, some of my most popular tweets have been ones where I’ve asked questions or asked people’s opinion on something.
The reason these metrics work is because they generate conversations.
Now obviously you want to target these questions towards a specific community, so if you are in the entertainment community you should ask questions about movies, music or even celebrities.
It’s a really easy way to generate more conversation, get to know more people, and get more people to comment and interact with your content on Twitter, but you also have to comment and interact with people on the tweets theirs and the questions they are posting. .
3. Retweet
You usually get retweets because your tweet resonated so much with individuals that they want to share it with their community. But I think this is a huge misconception about retweets.
The speculation about retweets that has been doing the rounds is that your tweets only get retweeted if it’s something that resonates really well with another user, but we have to start thinking that every person who has a Twitter page also has a kind of audience, regardless of the number, whether it’s five people or 500,000 people.
I am not disputing the aforementioned fact about tweets that resonate, but times are changing, most individuals now on Twitter, are looking for content and things to share that would be interesting to their audience as well.
So whenever you’re trying to generate more retweets on your tweets, you’re doing it by talking to the audience of people who are retweeting your content.
Yeah, this is like a really weird concept to try and understand, so I’m going to keep this as simple as possible if you want to generate more retweets on your tweets, speak up of one large group of people to another group of people.
Another thing is that Tweets also see a lot of shares and retweets whenever it offers a new perspective or some kind of value to the community you’re sharing it with.
Such tweets can be any of the four standard pieces of value it includes
1. Education
2. Inspiration / motivation
3. Entertainment
4. Relational
These tips mentioned above are really great tips to try and get more likes and comments and retweets and get more conversations on Twitter.
Mastering Twitter or mastering any social media is really like finally understanding all the concepts of your new favorite game or your new neighborhood.
At first, you’re really confused, you’re not sure where to go and you don’t know what to do, you might make some bad plays or get lost in the hood, but then you figure it out and start tearing it up. .
The thing is, just with any kind of Twitter content creation it takes a lot of time. It actually took me years to get to the point where I was getting the conversation flowing and my Twitter and doing updates and getting people to talk to me and want to follow me and be my friend and that’s okay, it just takes time like anything else and that’s totally normal.
I know it will be frustrating at first because you will feel like you are shouting into the void and no one is listening, but you keep interacting with other people on their Twitter and eventually one will come your way times. you understand these concepts a little more.
So these are my tips for you on how to grow your twitter to 10k, to get retweets to make people care about the things you say, you need to understand how to create a tweet so that it looks nice because this is a big part of social media too and don’t use unnecessary hashtags.
I think the use of hashtags is really ugly on Twitter, especially when it is used for unwanted purposes.
Although I have only shared how to get more likes, retweets and comments in subsequent posts, I will share more in-depth social media tips.
There’s a lot more to growing on Twitter, talking about the algorithm and what things work and what things don’t
