• The Oklahoma State women’s basketball team will enter early Jacie Hoyt It’s Tuesday night when Northeastern State (Okla.) comes calling for an exhibition contest at 6:30 p.m. inside Gallagher-Iba Arena.
• Hoyt was named the eighth head coach in program history on March 20, 2022.
• Hoyt went 4-1 in exhibition contests while leading the Kansas City program.
• NSU is one of seven different schools within the state that the Cowgirls have hosted for exhibition games. The RiverHawks join Central Oklahoma, East Central, Panhandle State, Southeastern Oklahoma State, Southern Nazarene and Southwestern Oklahoma on that list.
• The contest will mark OSU’s only exhibition contest of the season before the regular season begins Nov. 7 against UT Rio Grande Valley.
• Tuesday’s tilt could potentially mark the first action in a Cowgirl uniform for eight players.
• The contest will open a four-game homestand to open the season for the Cowgirls. OSU will host UT Rio Grande Valley on Nov. 7 before Northwestern State comes to town on Nov. 11 and Oral Roberts closes the stretch on Nov. 14.
• OSU will play its first road contest under Hoyt on Nov. 17 at Missouri State.
OSU in the exhibition game
• After a 64-40 win over Southern Nazarene last November, the Cowgirls have won 25 straight exhibition contests.
• The Cowgirls’ last exhibition loss came on Nov. 14, 2003 against Northwest Sports.
• Since 2002, OSU has a 28-1 record in exhibition play.
Know the enemy
• NSU went 7-21 last season, including a 5-17 mark in MIAA action.
• The RiverHawks were picked 12th in both the MIAA preseason women’s basketball coaches and media polls.
• NSU is in its sixth season under Fala Suiaunoa.

• This week’s contest will mark the fourth time the Cowgirls have hosted the RiverHawks in the exhibition.
• OSU posted a 70-37 victory in the last meeting in 2018.
• The two teams met in 2015 with the Cowgirls winning 95-54.
• 2013 marked the first exhibition game with OSU coming away with an 84-47 victory.
Last time out at the Play Expo
• All four of OSU’s returners this season played in last year’s exhibition contest.
• Kassidy De Lapp, Taylen Collins AND Lexy Keys everyone won the starting nod with You have James coming off the bench.
• Keys scored a game-high 16 points while dishing out a team-best six assists.
• Collins scored nine points to go with a game-high 12 rebounds.
