In a letter to Lula da Silva, Brazil’s landless workers call for the distribution of land from large estates

The Landless Workers Movement (MST) issued an “open letter” with several demands this Tuesday (November 29) to officially hand over Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT, progressive-globalist).

Some of the demands to the next PT government are the distribution of land from large farms to settlers, no deforestation and the fight against illegal mining.

In the last four years, on the other hand, the MST has been against the land grants to settlers made by the government of Jair Bolsonaro (PL, right).
