India vs West Indies Tour – India vs WestIndies LIVE: The tour of England is over and Team India has arrived in the Caribbean for a three-match ODI and 5-match T20 tour. BCCI arranged a charter flight for the entire squad led by Shikhar Dhawan. The team will have their first training session today. The first ODI game is scheduled for Friday. Sanju Samson, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Shubman Gill have joined the 16-member ODI squad. All three were not part of the ODI series against England. They gathered in Port of Spain in Trinidad & Tobago on Tuesday. The rest of the squad including the coaching staff consisting of head coach Rahul Dravid will fly directly from Manchester on Tuesday.

However, Virat Kohli, who has taken a break and is not part of the West Indies tour, will once again stay in London. His family will join him and they will move to an unknown place in England. He will only return for the Asian Cup, scheduled to begin on August 27.

- The other two captains, Rishabh Pant and Jasprit Bumrah have also been rested while Bhuvneshwar Kumar continues to be an absentee in the ODI squad.

- For the T20 series, Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant, R Ashwin, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Dinesh Karthik, Avesh Khan and Harshal Patel will join the squad.

Vacation for Rohit Sharma & Rishabh Pant: Regular captain Rohit Sharma will have a short break in the Caribbean to recharge his batteries ahead of the 5-match T20 series. While he is expected to board the charter flight on Tuesday, it is up to him.
Rishabh Pant will also have a short rest before rejoining the squad for the T20 series starting July 29. Both Rishabh and Rohit will have to report back to the team by July 27.
