India will face West Indies in the third and final match of the three-match ODI series on July 27 (Wednesday). The match will be played at the Queen’s Park Oval in Port of Spain, Trinidad, and is scheduled to start at 19:00 IST (Indian Standard Time). The visitors have already clinched the series after claiming victory in the first two ODIs. The Men in Blue held their nerve in both games to snatch victories from the jaws of defeat. In both the matches, the final over played the decisive role as the Indian bowlers and batsmen fought till the end to deny the hosts victories which were almost in their control. In the first ODI, Mohammed Siraj gave victory to the side led by Shikhar Dhawan with a six to win for Windies in the final delivery and Romario Shepherd failing to score more than one. In the second match, Axar Patel excelled with both bat and bowl as he finished things off in style as he smashed the winning run in 49.4 overs. Having led the Men in Blue, Shikhar Dhawan would be looking to end the series on a high note as he would look for another all-round performance from his team. On the other hand, Windies captain Nicholas Pooran would want his side to step up in the vital moments in the match and make the most of it after failing to capitalize on the turning points in the last two matches.

According to the weather report, there is a slight threat of rain in the middle of the game, which is at 13:00 local time. Moreover, the weather would be perfect for a good game of cricket. The temperature is expected to be around 28-30 degrees Celsius.

Queen’s Park Oval Report:

The pitch would be perfect for goals to be scored just like the first two matches in the ODI series. Teams would try to bat first after winning the toss as it would be easy for teams to put a massive total on the board after batting first. Batters would find it easy to make all kinds of shots as it can be expected that the ball would not move much. The team that would lower the total would also benefit from a relatively flat surface in Trinidad. It would be a high-scoring affair once again, just like the first two ODIs.
