Dancehall star Intence is raising some eyebrows with his new single ‘Correction’ in which he apparently takes shots at Vybz Kartel, Jahshii and Kartel’s right-hand man Sikka Rymes.

The goal is not new to controversy and beef. In fact, his career has been built on controversy, so it’s no surprise that he’s stirring things up after releasing his new single on the airwaves. The Jett Life deejay kicked off the Futuristic Music and Crash Dummy Productions track by saying he shouldn’t call any names, leaving fans to speculate from his verse.

While Vybz Kartel seems to be his main target on the song, Intence injected a snappy line about an artist who shot himself. “Dah a bad deh fi shot himself,” he deejay. Fans were quick to point out that JahShii admitted in an interview with Entertainment Report’s Anthony Miller last year that he once shot himself. The interview went viral for this, among other things.

Apparently, the goal highlighted this line aimed at Vybz Kartel, who is currently incarcerated. “No guy can chat neh nah f*** suh uno build,” he says. The dancehall artiste again took more shots at Worl’Boss in the punchline where he sings, “Laugh at them, ha ha ha ha haa, a nuh me do uno naa get nuh pun na na naa.”

However, it may be difficult to single out Vybz Kartel as the main target along those lines, as the former Portmore Empire deejay is currently engaged to his girlfriend of seven years, Sidem Öztürk. She has visited him at the Horizon Adult Detention Center where he is housed, so maybe he is getting “conjugal” visits as well. Of course, in Intence’s eyes, he’s not getting any “pun na naa”.

One particular line is a clear shot at Kartel right-hand man Sikka Rymes, who was shot three times in December 2019 in St. Andrew. “Dem couldn’t get mad at bad, it was never bad a Liguanea,” says the Intence deejaj, apparently alluding to when the artist was shot in the same place.

Intence also released the song with an accompanying music video directed by Jerro Will. Fans have also reacted to the diss record, with most praising the “New Gear” deejay for the effort.

“To be honest intent flow flows smooth and clean every song intent drop she has a different flow this artist truly a lyrical machine,” one fan wrote while another added, “Dissing Vybz Kartel and JahShii on same song say a bad abnormal man Something like dance hall vibes but Jashii is a coward go reply and Sikka is not ready for this level of lyrical warfare.

“Intence hit the target right with this one I’m banging for the rest of the year, I better retire,” wrote another fan.
