Talented left-handed opening batsman Justin Jagessar has been named captain of the Trinidad and Tobago U-17 national team to take part in the upcoming Cricket West Indies regional tour.
Jagessar had a prolific season with the bat in the age-group competition and leads an impressive 14-member squad for the white-ball event to be held in Trinidad between July 17 and 28.
The coach of the home team is former national cricket standout Rayad Emrit, while the manager is Rajendra Mangalie, who has also played regional cricket for Trinidad and Tobago.
