Jair Bolsonaro’s PL and right-wing parties will have 273 of the 513 seats in the Brazilian chamber

In 2023, PL will have more seats in the House of Representatives, which is moving further to the right.

With 99 MPs elected in Sunday’s elections (2), there was an increase of 23 compared to the current bench.

The legends with the most elected MPs will receive the largest share of the party’s coffers.

The last time a party elected that many representatives was in 1998.

At the time, the PFL (which later became DEM and then União Brasil) had 105 seats in the chamber, and the PSDB had 99.
