COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Jaxon Smith is set to take part in the 2022 U20 World Championship next week on August 16-17 in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Smith will begin his tour in the early morning of August 16 as the qualifying rounds get underway. The semi-finals will take place later that day for him to earn a place in the medal matches.
Those medal matches will close the action on August 17, while his return rounds would start earlier that day if necessary.
Accompanied by the coach Alex Clemsen as his personal coach, Smith will represent Team USA for the last time this summer. He has had an incredible summer with the US Open and Pan-American titles to his name. He has outscored opponents 54-2 in five matches along with one pin while regularly submitting opponents in the first period.
One heck of a summer. Ready to wrap things up in less than a week.
