Cheryl Murphy, founder and CEO of the Jersey City West Indian Caribbean Statewide Carnival, has announced that the organization will host a 2022 Thank You Appreciation Lime Carnival, set to take place on September 16, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. :00.
The last carnival that celebrated its 27thth The annual Jersey City Street Carnival, under the theme: “27 Years of Community Building,” will welcome patrons to Liberty State Park Reserve’s Pavilion B, located at 5 Theodore Conrad Drive, Jersey City, 07315.
Murphy said meet us at the park for the Jersey City Caribbean Statewide Thank You Appreciation Lime Carnival. “We are back to our traditional Road March Parade on Saturday, July 23, 2022,” Murphy said, adding, “JC Carnival is calling all grand marshals, sponsors, supporters, volunteers, directors and parade participants. We invite the community world in general to come celebrate a successful 2022 carnival season.”
“Thank you to everyone who had a role in our Carnival Street March film. Let’s continue to celebrate Caribbean American culture and build community together,” said Murphy, whose organization promotes arts, culture, education, health, business and fashion.
