Kevin Gates is giving fans an oratorio experience at his concert as the rapper has gone viral for another wild performance of his song ‘DU Down’.
Videos from the Gates event show another wild performance from the Baton Rouge rapper as he performed the sexually explicit song, which mimics him performing oral sex and having sex with his female partner. One video, in particular, shows an elderly Caucasian woman at the concert, clearly shocked at first, as Gates describes using language to harass his partner. The woman’s jaw drops as the rapper continues to recount the experience before launching into a performance of the song.
Fans on social networks have reacted to the already viral clip as they question the rapper’s actions.
“Cougars love Kevin Gates,” one person tweeted. “Who the hell takes grannies to Kevin Gates concerts????” asked another.
“Can someone explain to me what the hell is going on with Kevin Gates and why he has the internet in a frenzy?! What did I miss?! Someone fill me in,” said another.
“Imagine swiping on Twitter and the first thing you see is your grandma at a Kevin Gates concert,” one person said.

One person said they saw their mother in the closed crowd at Kevin Gates’ performance. Without a doubt, the Baton Rouge rapper is drawing an unlikely crowd of what you’d normally see at a rap concert, young millennials and Gen Z.

Meanwhile, Gates continues to headline with “DU Down” from his new album “Khaza”. The rapper recently also received praise for his freestyle “Super General,” which also listed his bad fantasies about several women in hip hop.
The rapper mentioned Ruby Rose, Beyoncé and Nicki Minaj in the lyrics, which has led to condemnation from hip hop fans.
While neither woman has acknowledged it, the rapper said last month that his verse was meant as a compliment to the husbands of artists like Kenneth Petty and Jay-Z as their wives are seen as desirable to other men despite they’re married.
