BOONTON, NJ – Summer is coming to an end, but there’s still family fun just around the corner. Boonton is among the New Jersey towns that get a little festive for Labor Day, holding a carnival and the town’s Labor Day parade.
The Boonton Fire Department Carnival will take place Thursday through Sunday at Boonton High School. Wristbands cost $33 and can be purchased online.
Here are the hours for each carnival day:
- Thursday: 6-9pm
- Friday: 6-9pm
- Saturday: 15:00 to 12:00
- Sunday: 3-8pm
The fire department will also host a parade at 1:30 p.m. Saturday. The parade — an 85-year tradition — will gather in the West Boonton area and proceed down Main Street to Grant Street, to Old Boonton Road, ending at Boonton High School.
The rain date is Monday, which is Labor Day. Find more event details here.
