When she organized The Delicacies of Patriarchy, Mirna invested in female power and diversity. The cover, signed by artist and activist Panmela Castro, presents the work "Siamese sisters"symbol of the community. Amelinha Teles, writer, historical feminist, director of the São Paulo Women’s Union and one of the 52 Brazilians nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize by the global initiative ‘1000 Women’, signs the book’s cover. The foreword is by Cristiane Brandão, postdoctoral student at the Centro de Investigaciones y Estudios de Género at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (CIEG/UNAM).
“The Subtleties of Patriarchy” is available for purchase on the publisher’s website (editorarebulico.com.br) for R$69.90 and 5% of the sale value will be donated to the Coletiva Promotoras Legais Populares do Rio de Janeiro/PLPs-RJ, e which supports women victims of gender violence. In addition to the launch at Janela Livraria in Shopping da Gávea, launches are planned in São Paulo (October/2024), Portugal (December/2024) and Spain (January/2025).
