LPL is a recently launched 20-over domestic cricket tournament organized by Sri Lanka Cricket. With the exception of Sri Lanka, all sub-continental countries now have their own versions of domestic T20 competitions in the form of the BPL, PSL and APL since the IPL revolutionized international cricket. However, the Sri Lankans also had their own version of this competition, known as the SLPL.
However, the tournament only took place once in 2012 and was no longer scheduled. Finally, SLC has planned a major domestic cricket event in 2020 with top level cricketers. The following edition will appear in July and August 2022. Here is a list of every broadcaster participating in LPL 2022.

- Fans from all over the world can rejoice in the fact that they can watch LPL matches for free.
- Through Sri Lanka Cricket’s official YouTube channel, viewers in Lanka can watch all the action for free.
- Indian viewers can watch it live on SonyLIV and the Sony Live app if they want to catch the action online. SonyLIV offers a variety of subscription plans and choices. However, SonyLIV Premium Plan, the best of them, costs INR 299 per month. Additionally, the plan offers annual and semi-annual subscription options for INR 999 and INR 699, respectively.
