Clemson travels to compete in Live at Lou
CLEMSON, SC – Clemson’s cross country team will compete for the third time this season on Saturday, Oct. 1, when the men’s and women’s teams each travel to Louisville, Ky. for the Live in Lou meeting. The men will run the 8k starting at 9:30 a.m. and the women will race the 5k starting at 10:15 a.m.
The meet will feature over 100 schools in total, including several from the ACC. This will give the Tigers a great opportunity to see where they stack up relative to the conference.
The Tigers are looking to continue to show improvement after their impressive showing at the Furman Invitational on September 17th. Freshman Maddie Dinneen excelled for the women’s team, running an under-18 5k for the first time in her career.
Sawyer Dagan and Marlin Young led the way for the men, finishing fifth and sixth, respectively, in a talented field. Dagan finished the 5k in 14:42.57, while Young followed close behind in 14:46.37.
After Live at Lou, the Tigers will have just one meet remaining before the ACC Championship on Oct. 28 hosted by Virginia.
