Looking back – Pentre Broughton carnival of 1974

Summer was often heralded by large community events, and none proved more popular than local carnivals.

Today we look at a collection of photographs from the Pentre Broughton carnival that took place in 1974.

It was a spectacle of floats and fancy dress, with members of the crowd – made up of all ages – also dressed to impress.

Can you remember it? We hope you can spot yourself or friends and don’t forget to tag each other.
