Lorde Lobo is an art educator, journalist, illustrator and cartoonist. Born in the city of Rio Grande / RS on January 7, 1973, where he still lives today. From a very early age – around 4 or 5 years old – he declared himself passionate about comic books. This fact prompted him to start drawing. “I started copying Monica’s Gang, I’m still a fan of Mauricio de Sousa’s characters, then I moved on to Disney and Recruta Zero. It was only later, in my pre-teens, that I got to know superheroes, then I became even more interested in comics, I thought those powerful beings were fantastic and since then I haven’t stopped reading”, declares Lobo excitedly. Lorde then decided to combine the useful with the pleasant and transferred his fascination for the following art to the professional field and began to publish illustrations, charges, caricatures, strips and comics in various newspapers, magazines and newspapers in his region, since 1992. ; in addition to working as a freelance designer for advertising and graphic agencies. In 1994, anxious to acquire more knowledge, he entered the faculty of Artistic Education – Habilitação Artes Plásticas, at the Federal University of Rio Grande / FURG, where he distinguished himself as the first academic to defend a monograph for the completion of the course on stories in comics. .
