Brazil’s former president and presidential candidate for October’s general election, socialist Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, said he is confident he will win the election in the first round.
In a message posted on social media, Lula da Silva appealed to undecideds and voters of left-wing parties, asking for the handy vote that would allow him to reach half plus one of the vote and win in the first round without needing to flow.
