Lula da Silva negotiates two ministries with the União Brasil party in exchange for support, says newspaper

Brazil’s newly elected president, Lula da Silva, is said to be negotiating two ministries with the powerful União Brasil party, the acronym of Luciano Bivar, in exchange for support in Congress.

The idea is that União Brasil will nominate one name from its bench of deputies and another from its bench of senators. The information is from the Conexão Política site.

União Brasil resulted from last year’s merger between the Social Liberal Party (PSL) and the Democrats (DEM).
