Alexander Cohen told LinkedIn users that he used a coffee maker to cook butter and garlic chicken. He wrote, “I’m traveling for work and instead of having a nice dinner out, I’ve decided to cook a cheaper meal in the hotel room. Even though the hotel room didn’t have a kitchen, I was able to use the coffee maker to cook butter and garlic chicken.”

The man further added, “Although my company allows me to spend on dinner while traveling, I wanted to save money because I know every dollar counts in the P&L.” He went on to say that these hacks could help him get a promotion. “It’s the little things that get you promoted,” he wrote.

Another said: “It’s worth a bit even if the boiler is out of order.”
