Brooklyn detectives are searching for the suspect who shot a 21-year-old man while he waited at a red light early Thursday morning.
Police said the attack happened around 3 a.m. on Aug. 4 at the corner of Lewis and Myrtle Avenues in Bedford-Stuyvesant.
Based on preliminary investigations, detectives found that an unknown person attacked the victim while he was sitting in a vehicle stopped at the intersection.
Officers from 79th Precinctresponding to a 911 call about the incident, found the victim with a gunshot wound to the back.
EMS rushed him to Kings County Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
As of Thursday morning, police sources had not released any information about a possible motive for the shooting, or a description of a suspect.
No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing, police said.
