Police are investigating an unnatural shooting death that now appears to be the nation’s 29th homicide of 2022.
In Lynches, St Philip, according to police, it was reported at around 8.40pm last evening, Saturday 3 September 2022, that there were a number of people lounging in an area under a street light playing dominoes, when a vehicle approached. the area stopped and suddenly a number of masked people jumped out of the car and started shooting.
The crowd dispersed for safety. A few moments later a man was found in the area lying motionless with several visible injuries. No one else received or complained of being hurt.
The victim confirmed the death of the doctor who went to the scene.
