A premiere of the film Recomeçar was held at the Bottega restaurant in the southern area of Rio de Janeiro. Actors Mario Gomes, Marcos Wainberg, Vanessa Fontana, among others, participated in this event. The cast of the film also includes Marcelo Gonçalves, Miguel Bottini, Clara Dias, Viviane Araujo, Lui Mendes, who could not be present.
Directed by Alessandro Barcellos with a screenplay by Edi Wilson Marques, “Restart” portrays the lives of some residents of Austin, a city in the interior of the state of Rio de Janeiro, where people live quietly and without greater ambitions.
First of all, Starting Over is a drama that deals with the dreams, desires and needs of several characters. Therefore, it confronts them with adversity, disappointments, insecurities, suffering, injustices, repressed passion, anger, pain, and the opportunity for a new beginning. In fact, mixed in the turmoil of feelings of the universal language that represents love in its various ways of manifestation and understanding.
