Melissa is a successful entrepreneur turned global investor who now runs Techstars Atlanta and New Orleans Powered by JP Morgan, a startup operator and early stage investor.
Techstars is the world’s largest pre-seed and seed investment company.
During her tenure as a seed operator, Melissa has spent more than a decade scaling startups from pre-revenue to Series C growth, resulting in seven acquisitions. As an investor, she focuses on startups that are building the future of Commerce, Consumer, Climate Technology and the Creator Economy.
Melissa also has Trinidadian roots.
