Despite all the challenges that the economy and society faced last year, the M&A (mergers and acquisitions) sector in Latin America recorded exceptional figures in the first half of 2022, both in terms of the number and size of transactions.
A total of 1,621 mergers and acquisitions were announced and completed, with a total value of $50.094 billion, according to the latest transaction registration report, a study prepared in collaboration with Aon and Datasite.
The study shows that in the second quarter of 2022 alone, a total of 385 mergers and acquisitions were announced. . .
