It was all about Haitian culture in May as we celebrated the sights, sounds and tastes of the island nation at the Haitian Cultural Fest. Welcome Wawa to Miramar! We had so much fun at this grand opening with their management and staff. On hand were our first responders, who faced off in a hoagie making contest… the police prevailed over the fireman to take home the trophy, but the Wawa Foundation awarded $1,000 to each of their chosen charities.
The team and I had the opportunity to visit with the general manager of NBC 6 & Telemundo and his staff at the TV studio in Miramar to make sure that the good news of Miramar is being told and not just the bad or disturbing news that it tends to be. titles. ! As always, ‘Putting you first keeps us first!’
