Come on Beckles
MINI Bar Reload pulled off a nervy four-run victory over Premium to clinch the division one title when the Windball 12-Over Norman Cricket League concluded at the Eddie Hart Savannah in Tacarigua last weekend.
After months of action, Mini Bar Reload stood.
Batting first, the champions scored 73/7 in 12 overs, with Kapil Harry scoring 35 and Amir Ali with 19.
Dave Baboolal was devastating with the ball to take Premium 3/6 and Imtiaz Mohammed took 2/17.
In reply, Premium posted 69/3 with Kadeem Williams hitting 22 and Christopher Calderon contributing 12. It wasn’t enough as Mini Bar Reload held on for the win.
In the final of the over-40 division, Ryan Baksh was the star to guide the Drifters to a 65-run victory. He hit the boundaries consistently as he hit 92 to propel the Drifters to a massive 115/4 in 12 overs.
Dave Baboolal made 11 and the best player for Bluffuzz was Kerwin Gonzales who took 2/5.
Bluffuzz never came close to the target finishing at 50/8 with Mukesh Lutchman finishing with 15. Daren Modeste was one of the main destroyers grabbing 2/4 for the Drifters.
In the other final, FSC beat Take and Pass by 20 runs in the best-of-the-half final.
