Evlin Abdullah-Khalifa has been officially announced as Miss Universe Bahrain 2022 on Sunday, September 11 and she will represent her country at the 71st Miss Universe pageant.
The 24-year-old beauty from Riffa has a bachelor’s degree in finance and banking and has also graduated from five schools – music, dance, modelling, taekwondo and understanding. She believes that life is a continuous learning process and that it is never too late to study or learn something new.
Lujane Yacoub, 18, from Hamala, was named first runner-up, while Shereen Ahmed, 27, from Manama, and Mariam Naji, 25, from Riffa, tied for second runner-up.
The new Miss Universe Bahrain follows last year’s titleholder Manar ‘Jess’ Deyani. In addition to her title, she also won the Prasana by Arjani Resort Choice Award for her “innate hospitality and authentic warmth”.
Evlin believes that an empowered woman is a role model for people and that she is empowered when she knows herself, her worth and what she is capable of.
