Nicki Minaj Barbz have dragged Missy Elliott after the rapper asked a question that they interpreted as her shadow rapper Queen Radio.
Missy Elliott shared a tweet earlier this week on Wednesday, but it seems the Barbz recently picked up on the tweet where Missy asked fans to define a hit vs. a classic. “I have a question… Is there a difference between an A Hit & A Classic record or not?” she posted on Twitter. “And if so, what is that difference?”
Coincidentally, Missy Elliott popped the question at a time when Minaj’s “Super Freaky Girl” grabbed several record and historic achievements.
The song, which debuted at Billboard No. 1, also saw the biggest solo debut for a rapper in decades and also had Spotify’s biggest global and US solo debut ever.
Fans seemed to think Missy was covering for Minaj, and many left harsh tweets directed at the “Work It” rapper.
“B**ch come back! Never ignore them like that! All hail the Queen of Innovation!! If it wasn’t for Missy, there wouldn’t be Nicki or Cardi B,” one fan wrote.
“Missy Elliott always has something to say about Nicki Minaj indirectly,” one fan wrote. “I see her dirty soul. It’s been that way for years. Give it up mom,” one person responded in the comments.
“Miss you 51 you had a good run but it’s over live your authentic truth,” added another.
Some also accused her of being messy. “Miss so miserable and messy don’t let me start these really crazy and miserable old needles, go pay the rent and stay in a desperate place, these old and new schools make me sick!! ! Nicki can’t beat any generation of female rappers.”
Meanwhile, many tried to shade him as they claimed the “Get Your Freak On” rapper didn’t have any hits.
“A Hit is what you still have to have. ‘Super Freaky Girl’ by Nicki Minaj is a hit. Classics are ‘Moment 4 Life’, ‘Only’, ‘Itty Bitty Piggy’, etc. You’re signed by Atlantic, right Messy Missy? Tell them to buy you a hit like they did for Cardi,” one of them shot back at the rapper.
Missy’s post was liked twelve thousand times and received thousands of replies and quotes.

Some of her fans came to the rescue as they called out the Barbz for being insecure and attacking Missy.
“B**ch come back! Never ignore such a thing! All hail the Queen of Innovation!! If it wasn’t for Missy, there wouldn’t be Nicki or Cardi B,” one person told a Nicki fan.
“Missy Elliott is not a problem and has never had any issues or feuds with any other rappers, Nicki fans are just desperate,” another pointed out as the two rappers recently reacted after she was announced as the winner of the MTV Vanguard Award.
“Anyone who says Missy Elliot has no classics doesn’t know hip hop and not because a fan of an artist means they know music,” said another fan.
Meanwhile, Missy then cleared the air after the uproar, as she revealed that she asked this question because she was arguing with her producer. The rapper added that there was no shade behind her question.
“I really like my answers,” she began. “It was a meeting with my producer friends about music. Is there any difference between classics and hits and he said it is more preference. So you all helped. Some chose 2 to be hurtful, but understand it came from a positive place,” she added.
