This Morning Edition, we’re joined live on set by Kenneth Butcher, one of PNM’s November by-election Speaker candidates.
Just yesterday the election committee of the party released a notice saying that 3 candidates have withdrawn, they are Brian Manning for Deputy Chairman, Curtis Shade for Field Office and Ndale Young for Youth Officer.
There has been talk of disagreements in the party and there has been talk of the creation of a new PNM and the need for change. Let’s join Mr. Butcher now to get his perspective on the state of the party and how he intends to fix it.
This time we’re talking about kids and experimenting with substances… after two middle school girls reportedly consumed jewelry cleaning acid, mistaking it for an alcoholic beverage.
The incident is said to have happened on Monday. According to reports, the liquid was brought to school by another classmate. According to Express, the teenager in the presence of her parents allegedly told the police that on Sunday she posted on her what’s app status images of a glass bottle containing a transparent liquid which she believed to be punch.
Her friends asked her to bring it to school to try it out. Let’s join Kevin David, head of NPTA to get his views on the situation.
