Movie Nights Return to Scugog

The Township of Scugog is excited to announce its return to in-person movie nights at the park and museum! Join us at 8:30pm on Wednesday, August 3rd at Palmer Park and Wednesday, August 9th at the Scugog Shores Museum Village & Archives for two magical movie nights under the stars.

This year we will be showing the PG Disney animated film Beauty on Wednesday, August 3, which follows the story of the magical Madrigal family. Each member has their own unique abilities, except for one: Mirabel. Is she destined to destroy the family’s magic, or is there more to plucky Mirabella than meets the eye?

On Wednesday, August 9, we will tell Unexplored. Based on the popular video game franchise, this PG-13 action-packed film follows the story of young adventurer Nathan Drake and treasure hunter Victor “Sully” Sullivan on their quest to find a 500-year-old lost treasure of explorer Ferdinand Magellan.

Arrive early and enjoy the variety of vendors, play pre-show trivia with your friends and family, and find a cozy spot to snuggle up in your chair or blanket for the show!

This FREE movie event is set to begin at 8:30 p.m. However, movie times may change or be canceled due to weather conditions. Please dress for the weather and note that seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Thank you to our presenting partner Communicate Freely, gold sponsors AVZ Accounting, Puckrin and Latreille, Taylor Forder Insurance Brokers and bronze sponsor Wave Dental for supporting this famous community event.
