The Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board (TTCB) will host the Namalco U23 Cup starting on Wednesday.
The 50-over tournament, which is sponsored by Namalco Construction Services Limited to the tune of $120,000, features four teams involved in four rounds of matches between December 28 and January 7.
The matches will start at 9.30 am and will be played at the National Cricket Centre, Balmain and Inshan Ali Park, Preysal.
The teams will be coached by Joshua James (Masqueraders), Cephas Cooper (Hummingbirds), Matthew Patrick (Flamingoes) and Kirstan Kallicharan (Scarlet Ibis).
The Hummingbirds will take on the Scarlet Ibis in the first round on Wednesday at the National Cricket Centre, while the Flamingoes will take on the Masqueraders at the Inshan Ali Park.
