Uruguay is the Latin American country most influenced by China in foreign policy, surpassed only by Cambodia globally, according to a study by Taiwanese NGO Doublethink Lab, based on 11 key categories for each country’s development.
“Uruguay shows conclusive evidence of Chinese influence in six of these eleven demands,” reveals Doublethink Lab in a study on Beijing’s global influence, which confirms the Asian giant’s advance in the West.
