CLEMSON, SC – 23 Clemson Tigers will travel to Pitt on Friday night to take on the No. 2 Panthers. 25 5-3-1. The game will be broadcast on the ACC Network, with kickoff scheduled for 8:00 p.m

The Tigers enter the game 8-2 and will look to build on their decisive 1-0 win on the road Monday at North Carolina. The Tigers are currently in fourth place in the ACC’s Atlantic Division, with Pitt taking fourth place in the Coastal Division.

Clemson is 6-3 all-time against Pitt, with the Tigers holding a 13-5 edge in total goals. Most recently, Pitt defeated Clemson 2-0 at Historic Riggs Field in 2021. Before that, Clemson upset Pitt at then-No. 1 in the 2020 ACC Championship game.

Tigers standout Ousmane Sylla has led the way for Clemson, scoring four goals and dishing out five assists in just eight games so far. He has a point in six of his eight games played this season and leads the ACC in points per game (1.63).

He is joined atop Clemson’s scoring charts by senior forward Mohamed Seye, who has assisted on three of Sylla’s goals. He added two of his own and also picked up four points in two games, bringing his season total to ten. He is tied for the conference lead at 6 assists.

Pitt will look to bounce back from a 3-1 loss at home on Sept. 30 to Virginia.
