The president of the Association of Social Work Professionals, Larry Emil Alicea, did not rule out for RADIO ISLA that there is a possibility of institutional abuse in the case of the 13-year-old girl with autism who was raped by her stepfather.

The Family Department confirmed to this medium on July 28 that in 2018 it handled a referral for neglect of Ana Castro Leduc, 41, of her daughter, a 13-year-old autistic girl who was sexually abused, contrary to what Glenda reported.
