“Noites Burlescas” é destaque nesta quarta no Teatro Rival Refit

The success of the public, Cabaré Carioca de Variedades will move the agenda of the most traditional theater in the city until December

One Wednesday a month, the buzz takes over the Rival Refit Theater with the box office hit Night Burlescas: Cabaré Carioca de Varieties. classic reference of the Comédia D’lart, where each artist presents his performance, showing his style of work within Burlesque. The presentation will take place next Wednesday, the 19th, from 7:30 p.m. Tickets from R$ 40.

“The audience really enjoyed our show. Burlesque is a totally immersive art. Be it for the costumes, for the music, for the movements. Our show is divided into two acts, where each artist explores sensuality and the subversion of society’s predetermined orders. It is a performance that involves the artists and the audience, who are encouraged to participate in the performance, where each becomes an element of the presentation,” says Fairy Adams.

Rival Refit Theater was fondly thought of by Fairy Adams when she decided to take her burlesque show to a concert hall in Rio de Janeiro. The space, from the 1930s, brings the ambient atmosphere that the art style represents. ZANA ADAMS

The artistic name of the dancer and dance teacher Fernanda Dalveira, who has been dedicated to dancing and teaching for over 25 years and has been a Burla artist for seven years.

Blending the delicacy of classical dance, the brutality of Rock n’ Roll and the sensuality of Burlesque, Fairy Adams’ performance comes to life, with her fans and dance moves seeming to float, while the sometimes heavy music contrasts with image, scenic view. Fairy Adams plays with paradoxes and loves contrasts. Her plays, sometimes comical, sometimes tragic, basically talk about the female universe, its pains and anxieties. Fairy Adams is an artistic reinvention in a world of total opportunity for creative exploration.

COLUMBINE ROUGE

Rouge Columbine, aka Maria Fernanda Lamim, is an actress, director, theater teacher, MA student in Performing Arts, suburbanite and mother.

With a neo-burlesque stage proposal that added a lot of humor and theatricality, she brings to her performances a new look at the body and sexuality of the mother woman, among other current issues.
