Notting Hill Carnival 2022: Schedule, lineup, dates, timings, and parade route

It has been three years since the last carnival took place due to the restrictions of Covid-19, so this year’s event is expected to be more special than ever.

This year’s Carnival will feature the first electric float, which has partnered with Spotify on a mission to make Carnival greener – the first time it has gone eco-friendly.

Speaking to Time Out, Mathew Phillip, CEO of Carnival said: “The Electric Ride was a huge success at Glastonbury. We are very pleased and have tested it to check that it can achieve the sound qualities we need and extend the distance and time.

“We really believe that electric vehicles are going to be the future of Carnival, not only from an environmental point of view, these vehicles are much safer,” he said.
