Now, a mural for Kieron Pollard in Bandra | Cricket News

It was an exciting week for Mumbai Indians as their old warhorse Kieron Pollard, who played for them for 13 years and appeared in 189 matches – the most by any overseas player in IPL history – hung up his boots his.
The West Indian, who said in a statement that he never even considered playing for another franchise, is now the coach of the 5-time IPL champions.
Pollard’s IPL debut has sent countless MI fans in the city reeling with excitement as well – Mumbai, after all, had become his second home, where he would bring his family every summer . In a wonderful, moving tribute to the 35-year-old explosive batsman from Trinidad & Tobago, Mooz, a city-based graffiti artist and illustrator, has made a mural for Pollardon Carter Road at Bandra. The mural depicts a typical Pollard gesture of fielding on the rim, with Mumbai’s loves scrawled next to it.
On Instagram, Mooz posted a video of himself doing Pollard’s mural, before captioning his post as: “A tribute from Mumbai to [email protected]”.
“Pollard has been a symbol not only of Mumbai Indians but also of the city. I just wanted to give something to the people of Mumbai to remember and celebrate the legacy of Polly (Pollard),” Mooz told TOI.
